Wood pellets are pressed from sawdust and wood chips. They fire automatically to keep the house cozy and warm. In order to be able to press the granules, the raw material needs to contain a certain amount of moisture. This moisture goal can be achieved by drying or conditioning (wetting). RGI sensors measure residual moisture in real time and enable quick and accurate control of drying or conditioning processes. Measurements can be achieved by using our integrated RGI sensor (hidden at the bottom of the compaction unit).
